Voigtlander 28mm F2 Ultron Lens

Bought the above to use on my Ricoh GXR.  Will test it out tomorrow as I was too tired to try it out today.  Pretty nice M mount lens that cost a fraction of the Leica’s.

Updates

Collected the K3 + FA*85/1.4 from APD and it was found that the rear lens group was loose.  Thankfully it has been fixed.

The Kipon adapter came in and I am having fun with it with my manual lenses; Chinon 50/1.4, Pentax 85/1.8, Sears 135/2.8 Macro, FA* 85/1.4, FA 43/1.9, FA77/1.8, etc

Collecting the restored VW Beetle tomorrow.  Will post a pic here for memories sake.

Updates for 2015 - So Far

It is now almost half of 2015.  So many things have happened to me during this past few months.  Getting stabbed in the back by a so called buddy in the school and getting a warning such that I loose my PB is not funny.

Will see what I want to do in the coming months.

On the bright side, I bought back a Ricoh GXR with a A12 28mm F2.5 and an M mount and a week later got a VF-2 EVF and another body.  So I now have 2 GXR bodies to play with.

I am waiting for the Kipon K to M mount adapter to arrive so that I can try out my Pentax lenses on the GXR.

Sadly, my Silver K3 is acting up with my FA*85mm F1.4 lens.  On my son's black K3, there is no issue with the lens.

Could it be just that both need to be re calibrated?  Off it goes to the service centre...

Sigma 100-300 F4 Lens

I borrowed this from a friend in the hope of buying it over to do birding, but our friendly Pentax tech and friend told me that there are no more spare parts for this lens unlike the 70-200 F2.8 I bought over from FW.

I will wait for a new version to arrive in SG before I decide on my next move.

Updates on what happened in December 2014

On the 30th of December 2014, I received notice that I would be transferred to PA from SJAB and it would be effective 2 January 2015.

I was upset and asked fro the reason and found out that EY has resigned.

I then asked to stay in SJAB until the end of week 1 - 9 January 2015.

From week 2 I am trying to learn the ropes of running the PA Crew before EY leaves by 31 January 2015.

Went to The Camera Workshop to test the YongNuo RF603II/N3 on the Metz 58AF-1P and the Pentax K3.  Works like a charm in manual mode.

Now to contemplate if I really need another Flash or just get the RF603II/N3.  The refresh rate of the YongNuo 560 III is very good s it is a manual flash but it is defintely faster than my own Metz flash.

The idiot in the office is not going to bug me any more.  Last week, he can even complaint to another buddy that I had nothing to do but he too had nothing to do and was doing his own personal stuff like doing his degree course assignment DURING office hours.
